We believe that accurate placement matching is essential to make sure that we are able to meet the needs of the Child. We make no apologies for requesting detailed information (where available) from placing social workers and look throughout the Assessment period to seek further information from family members.
We know that living in a Therapeutic Community can be different and sometimes daunting. As such we always want to meet with the young person, their family (where appropriate and possible) and the placing social worker, prior to a placement starting. As such we do not take “emergency placements” but will move very quickly to support a young person moving into the home.
